The bioactivity of ActiveMax® Human GM-CSF, Tag Free (Cat. No. GMF-H4214) was determined by dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of TF-1 cells. The ED50 < 0.1 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of > 1x10⁷ Unit/mg.

The bioactivity of ActiveMax® Human IFN-gamma, Tag Free (Cat. No. IFG-H4211) was determined by dose-dependent inhibition of the proliferation of HT-29 cells. The EC50 for this effect is typically 0.41-0.74 ng/mL.

ActiveMax Human VEGF165, Tag Free (MALS verified) (Cat. No. VE5-H4210) stimulates proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC). The ED50 for this effect is 4.216-9.281 ng/mL (Routinely tested).
