Epstein-Barr virus Envelope Glycoprotein B (gB), His Tag (GLB-E52H3) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Gln 23 - Gly 685 (Accession # P03188 (W112H, Y113R, R428G, R429S, R430G, R431S, R432G, W193R, L194V, I195E, W196A)).

Molecular Characterization

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 76.0 kDa. The protein migrates as 90-100 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method / rFC method.

>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
