  • Product Overview

Lp(a) (Lipoprotein(a)) is a unique and clinically important lipoprotein closely linked to cardiovascular risk. A lipoprotein particle made of an LDL-like core (contains ApoB-100) plus an additional protein called Apolipoprotein(a) (Apo(a)). Human Lipoprotein (a) ELISA Kitis a ready-to-use immunoassay kit, specifically designed to quantitate natural human Lipoprotein (a) that is present in biological samples, such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. Our ELISA Kit provides several benefits:

    1. Fully validation in biologic samples for detection range, sensitivity, inter- and intra-plate CV, recovery, dilution linearity, specificity, and matrix effects to ensure reliable results according to ICH M10 guideline.
    2. High-quality antibody pairs and protein standards, along with rigorous quality control, to guarantee consistent results across different batches.
    3. Ready-to-use reagents to save assay time.

Elevate your research experience with our Cytokine/Biomarker Detection Kits, where accuracy, reliability, and ease of use are converging to deliver exceptional results.

  • Application

This kit is specifically designed for the accurate quantitation of native human Lp(a) from cell culture supernates, serum and plasma. The standard is a recombinant human Apo(a) protein, and the antibodies specifically recognize the Apo(a).

It is for research use only.

Data Display

  • Typical Data

Please refer to DS document for the assay protocol.

     LPA TYPICAL DATA

For each experiment, a standard curve needs to be set for each microplate, and the specific OD value may vary depending on different laboratories, testers, or equipment. The following example data is for reference only. The sample concentration was calculated based on the results of the standard curve. The minimum detectable concentration of Lipoprotein (a) is less than 150 pg/mL.

Validation
  • Sample Values

43 healthy serum samples were evaluated for the concentrations of human Lipoprotein (a) in assay. The sample detection rate is 100%. The mean value is 5.206 μg/mL, and the range is from 0.495 to 17.815 μg/mL.

     LPA SAMPLE VALUES
  • Intra-Assay Statistics

Eight replicates of each of three samples containing different Lipoprotein (a) concentrations were tested in one assay. Acceptable criteria: CV<10%.

     LPA INTRA-ASSAY STATISTICS
  • Inter-Assay Statistics

Three samples containing different concentrations of Lipoprotein (a) were tested in independent assays. Acceptable criteria: CV<15%.
