Source

Biotinylated Human ALPP Protein, His,Avitag (ALP-H82E3) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Ile 23 - Asp 506 (Accession # P05187-1).

Predicted N-terminus: Ile 23

Molecular Characterization

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).

The protein has a calculated MW of 56.3 kDa. The protein migrates as 65-70 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).

The protein is designed as a dimer.

Labeling

Biotinylation of this product is performed using Avitag™ technology. Briefly, the single lysine residue in the Avitag is enzymatically labeled with biotin.

Protein Ratio

Passed as determined by the SABA assay / HABA assay / binding ELISA.

Purity

>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

>90% as determined by SEC-MALS.

Formulation

Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.5 with trehalose as protectant.

Background

ALPP is highly expressed in a variety of solid tumors, including ovarian, endometrial, germ cell, non-small cell lung, bladder and gastric cancers. In normal tissues, it is expressed in the placenta and low in lung and reproductive tissues.ALPP is a membrane protein and exits as a homodimer.
