HLA-A*0201 & B2M & MAGE-A2 (KMVELVHFL)

HLA-A*0201, a prevalent human MHC class I allele, assembles with β2-microglobulin (B2M) and the MAGE-A2-derived peptide KMVELVHFL to form a peptide-MHC complex. MAGE-A2 belongs to cancer-testis antigen family, which is largely silenced in normal somatic tissues but reactivated in multiple malignant tumors. It promotes tumor progression and immune escape, representing a promising target for tumor immunotherapy. This cell-surface complex can be specifically recognized by CD8⁺ cytotoxic T lymphocytes, supporting the development of antigen-specific T cell research and cancer vaccine design.
