Utilized protein as a model protein for conjugation development. I am working on developing in-house cysteine conjugation methods and analytics, so this biologically relevant protein bearing a single free cysteine residue was what I was looking for as commercially available single cysteine proteins are hard to come by. The protein served worked well in Ellman's assays and HPLC to establish maleimide conjugation efficiency. Happy with the speed/quality, and the CofA was detailed in how to reconsitute and store the product.
