  • Synonyms

    TNFRSF17, CD269, BCM, BCMA

  • Source

PE-Labeled Human BCMA, His Tag (BCA-HP2H7) is produced via conjugation of PE to Human BCMA, His Tag with a new generation site-specific technology under Star Staining labeling platform. Human BCMA, His Tag is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Met 1 - Ala 54 (Accession # Q02223-1).

    Predicted N-terminus: Met 1

5e5 of anti-BCMA CAR-293 cells were stained with 100 μL of 1:50 dilution (2 μL stock solution in 100 μL FACS buffer) of PE-Labeled Human BCMA, His Tag (Cat. No. BCA-HP2H7) and negative control protein respectively (Fig. C and B), and non-transfected 293 cells were used as a control (Fig. A). PE signal was used to evaluate the binding activity (QC tested).

     BCMA CAR_T

5e5 of PBMCs were stained with PE-Labeled Human BCMA, His Tag (Cat. No. BCA-HP2H7) and anti-CD3 antibody, washed and then analyzed with FACS. FITC signal was used to evaluate the expression of CD3+ T cells in PBMCs, and PE signal was used to evaluate the non-specific binding activity to PBMCs (QC tested).

FAQ

Can lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary room-temperature exposure?

In general, lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary exposure to room-temperature conditions.

Many ACROBiosystems recombinant proteins are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form. The lyophilization process effectively removes moisture from the product, helping reduce degradation-related reactions and improve protein stability during transportation and storage.

To evaluate the stability of lyophilized proteins under normal temperature conditions, ACROBiosystems conducted a stability study on 11 representative lyophilized protein products at 37°C. The study demonstrated that these proteins maintained good quality stability after storage at 37°C for approximately 20 days. Based on these validation results, temporary room-temperature exposure during shipping or handling is generally not expected to have a significant impact on product quality or downstream application performance.

To ensure optimal long-term stability, products should be stored according to the storage conditions specified in the product Certificate of Analysis (COA) upon receipt.

Background Introduction

Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 17 (TNFRSF17) is also known as B-cell maturation protein (BCMA), CD antigen CD269, which is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. TNFRSF17 contains one TNFR-Cys repeat. TNFRSF17 is expressed in mature B-cells, but not in T-cells or monocytes. TNFRSF17 is receptor for TNFSF13B/BLyS/BAFF and TNFSF13/APRIL. TNFRSF17 promotes B-cell survival and plays a role in the regulation of humoral immunity. TNFRSF17 can activate NF-kappa-B and JNK.
