Product Description
ActiveMax® Human DLL4/VCAM-1 μBeads, premium grade (for cells, 5.5 μm) are uniform, superparamagnetic beads of 5.5 µm coated with an optimized mixture of human VCAM-1/CD106 protein (premium grade) and human DLL4 protein (premium grade). They were expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). Human VCAM-1 / CD106 protein contains AA Phe 25 - Glu 698 (Accession # P19320-1), and human DLL4 protein contains AA Ser 27 - Pro 524 ((Accession # NP_061947.1).
ActiveMax® Human DLL4/VCAM-1 μBeads, premium grade (for cells, 5.5 μm) are produced under sterile manufacturing conditions (ISO 5), and no animal- or human-derived components are used throughout the production process. It is produced under our rigorous quality control system that includes a comprehensive set of tests including sterility and endotoxin tests.Application
ActiveMax® Human DLL4/VCAM-1 μBeads, premium grade (for cells, 5.5 μm) is designed to synergistically activate Notch signaling in hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (HSPCs). The synergistic interactions between Notch ligand Delta-like 4 and VCAM-1 are leveraged to enhance Notch signaling to support efficient T-cell lineage commitment, so the beads are recommended to use for in vitro production of induced pluripotent stem cell derived T cells.

Storage
This product is stable in storage under the following conditions: -20˚C for 12 months in lyophilized state. -70°C for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Please protect from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Immediate use after reconstitution is highly recommended.

Can lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary room-temperature exposure?
In general, lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary exposure to room-temperature conditions.
Many ACROBiosystems recombinant proteins are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form. The lyophilization process effectively removes moisture from the product, helping reduce degradation-related reactions and improve protein stability during transportation and storage.
To evaluate the stability of lyophilized proteins under normal temperature conditions, ACROBiosystems conducted a stability study on 11 representative lyophilized protein products at 37°C. The study demonstrated that these proteins maintained good quality stability after storage at 37°C for approximately 20 days. Based on these validation results, temporary room-temperature exposure during shipping or handling is generally not expected to have a significant impact on product quality or downstream application performance.
To ensure optimal long-term stability, products should be stored according to the storage conditions specified in the product Certificate of Analysis (COA) upon receipt.
